Studio Richter Mahr commissioned 3 filmmakers and myself to develop Max Richter’s ‘Flowers for Herself’ music video, from his 2021 ‘Exiles’ album. ‘Flowers of Herself’ soundtracks the opening 5 pages from Virginia Woolf’s 1925 opus ‘Mrs Dalloway’. My role was to enhance the filmed footage with textured handwritten text animations, inspired by Virginia Woolf’s own handwriting and manuscript.
